Run For Her 2024 – Sri Lanka's First Fundraising Marathon for Endometriosis Awareness
On November 23, 2024, we successfully hosted Run For Her 2024, Sri Lanka's first-ever 5KM fundraising marathon dedicated to endometriosis awareness and support.
Organized in collaboration with the Endometriosis Support & Awareness Foundation Sri Lanka (ESAF), the event aimed to shed light on this debilitating yet underdiagnosed condition affecting 1 in 9 women globally.
Starting at Independence Avenue and concluding at Viharamahadevi Park, the marathon brought together participants, healthcare professionals, and advocates to support those suffering from endometriosis. The funds raised were channeled towards initiatives focused on early detection and adolescent endometriosis awareness—a growing concern in Sri Lanka, particularly among girls aged 10–19.
